Hello! So, I decided to host a contest. 
Why? Because I finally got over 50 watchers! I only need 5 more Llama's until I hit 50 too!
If you can donate any kind of prize (even just a llama badge) please note me on what you can give and you will be placed in the prize section!)
They MUST be a book character. Not an OC, but a canon character. However, it can be background characters! You CAN use a base, but I'd rather you not. If you do decide to use a base you MUST credit the basemaker. You can also cosplay! You can draw in any style. Anime, realism, ect.
In the description link to this journal so others can participate too!
The deadline is August 31th, 2013 at midnight CENTRAL AMERICAN TIME. 
and 
will be the judges, and we will pick the winners on September 1st, 2013.
NO NUDITY. I WILL allow MILD blood/gore IF AND ONLY IF it fits with the story. Such as, a Hunger game character with some blood on their clothes, because they were Reaped. WHAT IS NOT OKAY is like, Harry Potter covered in blood with basilisk guts all over him. (Though I would sorta love to see that, I won't allow it in the contest.)
You MUST give credit to the author of the book, and you CANNOT sell it for prints. Obviously. I don't know why this should be a rule.
Post the link to the character in this journal. I will post the thumbs in this journal at the very bottom.
Put information about the book and character, and why you like them. You don't have to, but it will earn you extra points! The pictures in the best will NOT be the winners of the All around category. They're basically runner ups. YOU MAY SUBMIT UP TO 3 ENTRIES.

The point of this contest is to draw your favorite or least favorite book character. YOU MAY USE ANY BOOK. The prizes will be from me and any other deviant who wants to offer up prizes. They will be listed at the very bottom. Everyone will win at least a llama badge and a feature on my DA journal, but only the first three places of the Best overall will get the big prizes. (I will personally give a prize to the winners of each category.)

I like to look at design, pose, the time you put into it, your passion for the piece, creativity, and at the VERY last, quality. I feel the first five are more important than how beautiful it looks. A person could create the prettiest pictures, but can still be bland. If you put effort into your art, then it will come out well, regardless of what level you're at.

This is a Halloween contest. For it, you may pick one of my OC's down below and put them in a Halloween costume or a scene. It can be ANY costume at all! (If a story or poem, a scene would be prefered.)

Well, not many people entered, and I'm super sad about that. :( I will be holding another contest soon, and the prizes with be points and such good stuffs.
I decided to go ahead and judge and pick the winners. There is only 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
